​​Teen Summer Theatre Arts

(for students entering Grades 7 - 12)

 

The Summer Theatre Arts Program was developed in 2003 and has been specifically designed for students, entering Grade 7 and higher, who have a passion for the performing arts, and who are interested in working in an intimate, friendly and fun environment. This Program is led by ADULT specialists in the areas of Acting, Dance and Music, and consists of two, independent sessions* (July and August). 

 

    ​These three-week Musical Theatre sessions* ​(for students entering grades 7 to 12) will include:

• Daily instruction in all aspects of Musical Theatre facilitated by professional, qualified instructors.

• Improvisation and Theatre games; Workshops on character development and audition techniques.

• A final full-scale musical theatre production** to be performed for friends and family in the third week.

​Session Dates & Times

 

 

Session A: Tuesday July 2 - Friday July 19
Session B: Monday August 12 - Friday August 30 (No Camp Aug 5)

​

There will be a maximum of 16 participants in each session.

All sessions run Monday to Friday from 9am to 4pm

(before and after-care available upon request).

​

*Charactors Theatre Troupe reserves the right to cancel a camp session due to an insufficient number of participants.

**The productions for the Teen Summer Theatre Arts Sessions will be announced on the first day of each session.
