Mini Musical Theatre
(for students in SK - Grade 2)
Their First Steps Into Musical Theatre Start Here!
A joyful, confidence‑building musical theatre program for SK–Grade 2
culminating in a final performance.
A beginner-friendly musical theatre experience (16 weeks) designed specifically for young performers in Senior Kindergarten to Grade 2.

Students will explore singing, movement, drama, and storytelling — all while preparing for a supportive, age‑appropriate 30-minute production to be performed at our studio on the final day of the term.
There are two, independent terms ($595 +HST per term):
Fall/Winter 2026
September 20 - January 24
Winter/Spring 2027
January 31 - June 20

There are two class times available:
Sunday Mornings from 10.30am - 12.00pm​
or
Sunday Afternoons from 12.00pm - 1.30pm

Instructor Biography

Throughout her career, Danielle has directed and choreographed more than 20 productions, with notable credits including Once on This Island, Beauty and the Beast, Frozen Kids, The Lion King Kids, High School Musical, The Little Mermaid, and Annie, among many others.

Danielle is thrilled to be heading up the Mini Program with CharActors alongside Wayne and Megan. She is excited to share her love of musical theatre while helping young children explore performance, imagination, music, movement, and storytelling in a positive and encouraging setting. Her goal is to create an inclusive, exciting, and supportive space where every child feels seen, celebrated, and inspired to shine.

When she’s not teaching or directing, Danielle is a proud mom of two teenagers and four beloved fur babies.
Danielle is an actor, director, choreographer, and educator with over 30 years of experience in the performing arts. A graduate of the Musical Theatre Performance Program at Sheridan College, she also holds a B.A.H. from University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Education from York University.

For over 20 years, Danielle has been an elementary teacher with the Toronto District School Board (TDSB), specializing in music, dance, and drama education. A passionate arts educator, she has dedicated her career to inspiring young performers and creating engaging, inclusive spaces where children can build confidence, creativity, and a lifelong love of musical theatre. Her specialty is working with children ages 3–13, helping them develop foundational performance skills in a joyful and supportive environment.
